At Avid Hawks, I work the way a hawk hunts.

I circle high, scan wide, and stay patient until the right target shows itself. I track the patterns, watch the movement, and test the wind before making a move.

When the moment’s right, I don’t hesitate—I dive, lock it in, and secure the deal. No flapping around, no noise, just clear intent and clean execution.

That’s how I treat the market for you: careful approach, sharp timing, and a decisive swoop when the value is there.

Note - it's very difficult to ensure we snap up a good deal for you as soon as it's available if you're 40th on the list (like working with the Big BA's). We choose to only work with a maximum of 2 clients per week so the client only has one contact throughout the whole process. We want to be different.

About Me

I bought my first property at 18, using the profits from hosting a rave party.

That first property got me hooked.

I learned how to use equity and made a couple of smart moves, which meant I spent most of my twenties travelling to more than 70 countries, all while growing my portfolio in the background.

By 28, I decided to take things more seriously. Seven years later, my portfolio was worth $3.34 million, and by 36, I’d bought my family’s dream acreage home and was completely debt-free.

Along the way, I became a qualified mortgage broker, worked in wealth coaching and financial planning, knocked over an Advanced Diploma of Financial Planning (RG146), and even graduated with an MBA.

I’ve seen every side of the property game — the high-stakes negotiations, the subtle lender quirks — and I use that experience to help my clients get better results. I even wrote a book about it, Property with Purpose, which has helped plenty of Australians invest smarter.

Here’s the big difference when you work with me — you’re not getting shuffled between a sales rep, an onboarding team, a contracts team, and someone else for settlement. You’re dealing with me from the first chat right through to post-settlement.

I research your properties, I speak to the agents, I decide which ones pass my FutureFocus™ due diligence, I negotiate the deal using my DealMAX Method™, and I’m still speaking with you post-settlement to make sure everything is going well.

I only work with a maximum of 2-3 clients a week so no one gets lost in the system. Sometimes there’s a waiting list — but trust me, that’s better than paying your invoice and then sitting in a six-month exclusivity period while a big company waits for more stock to come in.

I don’t just pull data from one or two online platforms. I work with the same top-tier economists the Big 4 Banks use, so you get the best market intel without paying for the big corporate overheads.

At the core of how I work is my FutureFocus™ process — the same due diligence framework I’ve used on my own deals to get results like 105% growth in two years, 125% in four years, and 76% in two years.

When I’m not helping clients, I’m at home on Bribie Island with my wife and our two boys, Max and Lucas.
